6 Cute Hair Styles Ideas for Girls with Naturally Frizzy Hair | ❤️

1. Topsy-Tail Pony

A topsy pony tail can make an ordinary pony tail look elegant with no effort and it’s perfect whether your heading to the beach or just chilling with some friends drinking cocktails!

What you need: A Comb and A Hairband

How to do it:
  • Firstly, comb your hair all the way through, towards the middle of the back of your head and then gather all of your hair at the back of your head and secure with your hairband
  • Next, make a small gap between your head and your hair band by using your ‘pointer’ finger and your thumb to create a small opening behind the hair band
  • Take the ends of your pony tail, loop them through the small gap in your pony tail and pull through to the other side
  • Once the hair is through the gap you will then have an inside-out pony tail.. You can make any adjustments you need too

2. Headband Plait
There is nothing more satisfying than being able to use your own hair to create a lovely natural headband, perfect for summer.

What you need: Hairspray, Hairgrips, Hair Bands and Hair Clips

How to do it:
  • Firstly, clip back the front sections of hair in front of the ear and create a small 5-7.5 cm rectangle section behind the ear and then clip the hair above it away to use later..
  • Then starting on the left side, make a three stranded plait from behind the ear and secure with a hair band then do the same on the right side
  • Drop down the clipped – back sections and feel free to do what you want, curl it, straighten it .. I personally love the look with it curled but it’s up to you!
  • Then take the plaited sections over your head of the opposite side of your hair and secure them n to place with hair grips
  • Then finish the look by hair spraying the plaits in to place

3. Pony Knot
Similar to the topsy tail look, I personally feel that the pony knot makes a normal pony tail look more sophisticated and elegant.

What you need: Brush, Hair Band, Hair Grips , Hair Spray (optional)

How to do it:
  • Brush your hair and make sure all the knots are out. Then gather your hair loosely towards the nape of your neck and comb through with your fingers to give it an undone soft texture
  • Create a low, loose pony tail and then secure it with a hair band.
  • Make a simple knot by creating a large loop near the base of ponytail and pulling the ends of the ponytail through the loop – this will create a large knot at the base of your ponytail.
  • Deepening on the thickness of your hair, use a hair grip (or 6) underneath the base of the knot to secure it into place – if needed finish the look with hairspray!

4. Messy Side Plait
Nothing says sweet and simple than a messy side plait; it can be used as a great casual look or you can dress it up with a headband or a flower piece to make it more bohemian.

What you need: Comb and Hairband

How to do it:
  • Sweep your hair to the desired side and divide it in to three sections
  • Take the section on the left and cross it up and over to place it in the middle and then take your section on the right and cross it up and over to place it in the middle
  • Repeat this technique switching from left to right, until you get to the ends and then secure it with a hairband
  • Gently pull on each strand to plump your plait, to create a messy texture and then massage some of your hair out of the plait to create some wispy pieces.

5. Asymmetric Cornrow
Nothing like showing your inner rock chick out by creating this style, this look is amazing for festival/gigs!

What you need: Comb, Hair Clip and Hairband

How to do it:
  • Create a deep side parting on the desired side by going as far over as the arch of your brow line
  • From that parting create a large C-like section from the hairline down the side of the nape of your neck, about an inch away from the middle of the back of your neck. Clip back the hair above the C-like section
  • Create a Dutch Plait inside the C-Like section going from your hairline back to the nape of your neck, down to the centre of your section – As you work towards the back of your neck, join hair in to your plait from both sides, keeping the plait central
  • When you reach the nape, secure the plait with a hairband
  • Let the ends of the Dutch plait blend in with the rest of your hair

6. Upside- Down French Back Bun
It’s a great alternative to a top knot and it adds a bit of a quirky flair to the hair. It’s an eye-catching style and it keeps your hair up keeping you cool this summer!

What you need: Brush, Hair Clip, Two Hairbands, Hairgrips and Hairspray (optional)

How to do it:
  • Section off the front section from ear to ear across the crown area and clip back for later
  • Flip your head upside down and start with a normal French plait technique by taking a small section of hair at the nape of your neck and dividing it into three equal sections
  • Start to connect hair from the sides as you work from the nape up towards your crown area and then secure the base of your plait to the scalp with a hair band.
  • Drop the hair out of your clipped back section, add it to your hair outside the plated pony and secure with a hair band
  • Lastly, wrap all the hair around the pony to make a bun and secure with hair grips. If needed to then hairspray lightly to keep everything in place
